Martinu - Marindolina

Tired of rambling through alleyways and squares? Get yourself spiffed up - it's time to go to the opera. With a libretto inspied by Goldoni's La Locandiera and music by the American composer of Czech origin Bohuslav Martinu, Mirandolina is a mix of opéra-comique, Singspiel and operetta. Highly enjoyable and a good bit of fun, this music is just the right pretense for an entertaining evening of opera.
